Hi, I’m Charlotte. Thank you for visiting my blog, which records my various sewing, knitting, and other creative projects.
I organise the annual free-to-attend sewing meet-up SewBrum in my hometown of Birmingham, England, and am one of the organisers of The Sewing Weekender.
I’m a member of the Birmingham branch of the Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers, and the National Association GPC.
In my day job I work as a project manager at a university.
In addition to crafting, I love movies, music, modern art, theatre, travel, comics, and gaming. My favourite band will always be The Smiths, film Billy Wilder’s The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, book J.R. Ackerley’s My Father & Myself, and video game SNES RPG Terranigma. I’ve been a vegetarian since junior school.
My blog logo was designed by Sarah Ray. See more of her work at www.sarahray.co.uk
Thank you for reading & do get in touch.

Hello there,
I was put onto your site through a family member. You are Cal’s niece, yes? I am Chuck’s sister in law in Ontario.
I also am involved in the business of clothing, but for the stage.
Glad to meet you here.
Cheers,
Terri

Lovely blog Just stumbled across it early this morning. Love your Grace Dress so much that I … bought the shoes! Probably not your intent but it does show that we’re paying attention, in our own way. xx
